C.S. Lewis called it the "trilemma": Liar, Lunatic, or Lord.
Yeshua touched lepers. Forgave prostitutes. Wept at the grave of His friend.
But He also said:
- "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30)
- "Before Abraham was, I am." (John 8:58)
- "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father." (John 14:9)
You can't separate Yeshua's compassion from His claims.
He didn't just teach about G-d. He claimed to be G-d.
So Who Is He?
Option 1: He was lying. (But liars don't usually die for their lies.)
Option 2: He was insane. (But His teachings are considered some of the wisest in history.)
Option 3: He was telling the truth.
And if He was telling the truth, then everything changes.
A Heart That Breaks... and Redeems
Yeshua didn't come to condemn. He came to rescue.
He didn't distance Himself from the broken: He became broken for them.
Isaiah 53 said the Messiah would be "pierced for our transgressions." Yeshua fulfilled that prophecy on a Roman cross.
Not as a victim. As a volunteer.
The Question Remains
Who do you say He is?
A good teacher? A prophet? A lunatic?
Or the Messiah (G-d with skin on) who loved you enough to die for you?
